This guided sleep meditation sleep story for grownups is to help you let go of thoughts and worries while helping you to fall asleep quickly, tackling insomnia. This sleep story for grownups about walking through a park on a sunny day. You sit on a bench beside a pond in the park. You take some time to watch the birds on the pond and observe goings on around you, before resting back on the bench, watching clouds go by and focusing on being in the moment. You stand up from the bench and go and sit under a tree, close your eyes and let your mind wander. As you drift deeper into your mind, you find yourself in a busy market. You see a man at the far end of the market dressed in purple with an hourglass on a table in front of them. You go to them, they turn over the hourglass. You watch the sand flowing and notice it spreading out, almost like a desert spreading out from the hourglass as the table and the man fades away. You find an old stone well in the desert, you lower a bucket into the well and drink some of the water. Some of it splashes onto the ground, you notice that where it splashes on the ground, grass seems to spring up and life begins to form in the desert. You discover that you are now on an open areas of grassland where you notice elephants, you walk to the edge of a forest, light a campfire, watch the sun set and notice as the moons appear in the sky, that you are on a different planet. As the sun rises the next morning, you notice an eclipse here on this planet. You explore and walk into the forest on this planet. Deep in the forest, you find a house with a beautiful garden. You knock on the door of the house and are greeted by a witch, the witch creates a therapeutic drink for you. You drink the drink and explore the garden and notice there are dozens of fairies in the garden. You drift and relax in the garden, noticing a Peacock as your eyes close and you drift into a healing experience. You find yourself in an Indian temple at a Yoga retreat, After some time at the Yoga retreat you find yourself opening your eyes and see the witch beside you. The two of you walk through the garden, at the back of the garden you notice a brick wall with water running down the wall. The witch spins a glitter ball hanging near the wall making light dance on the wall of water. As this reality fades away the witch tells you to take the healing with you as you drift back to being aware of sitting in that park, in the park you see and go on a rope swing hanging from a tree. You notice as you swing that it begins to snow, then you notice a glass dome overhead and realise you are in a snowglobe, you realise the snowglobe is in a child's bedroom. You find yourself waking under the tree in the park. You walk to the pond and throw a stone in the pond and put your hand in the water, you journey home where you go to bed and drift off asleep.
